Taxation

The tax regulations in the Scandinavian countries are intense and complex; and the level of taxes are generally high. At the same time, the tax systems intentionally offer legal ways for businesses to reduce and/or postpone taxes, or at least avoid double taxation. Consequently, tax matters should be considered before commencing any major business transaction or activity.

If approached by a client wanting to establish a new business, group formation, reconstruction, merger, acquisition, incentive-scheme, or other material business matter, NORDIA will point out and give proper advice regarding relevant related tax issues. This is done as an integrated part of the service, unless the client decides otherwise.

Furthermore, NORDIA will handle any specific question that is raised by a client regarding tax and duties, and will represent the client before the relevant administrative boards and/or Scandinavian courts in possible disputes regarding tax and duties.
